| Our Open World has been discussed for years. Our Open World has been deliberated and its implications have been speculated upon, too long. And in the trenches we have, in our own little way, created many independent Open Worlds, Whether you come from the realms of Free Speech, Free Software, Free Hardware, Free Spectrum, Free Culture or Free Innovation - be welcome to Our Open World. Our Open Worlds now need unification, as is the case with any set of ideas that can, will, or must change the world. And unlike physics, the Grand Unification of Our Open Worlds is a simple series of human understandings. But it still needs to be done. It is in hopes of accomplishing this task that we now call a conference for everybody involved in the field, from those who work in the trenches, to those philosophers who have been sitting by and attempting to glean some understanding. Save the date. Prepare to come to Iceland between the 2nd and 9th of July, 2008. There, in the midnight sun, we hope to forge new understanding between the pioneers of various kinds of Free and Open philosophy, culture and practice to understand and unify the wider picture.
